Mend Honda HRT216 Lawn Mower Self Propelled Engine

Honda HRT 216 self propelled lawn mower shuts off!?

My Honda mower shuts off every 40yds or so and then will start backup, go for awhile and shut off again etc. etc.
Any ideas on what it could be?? and how to fix it.

Sounds like a fuel problem. Is the air filter clean? OR sometimes the spark plug may be dodgy, this is less likely, but fitting a new plug will tell you if that was the problem.
