The mower starts on choke but when moved back to fast or idle the engine hunts i.e. The rev increase and decrease in a rhythm. It seems like the mixture needs adjusting but there is no provision for this. The mower ran fine at the end of last season. Any suggestions?
There is no diaphragm in the Issy carb and I am using new fuel. I think there maybe a partially blocked jet in the carb. Has anyone cured surging by cleaning out the jets?

I had this problem on my mower it turned out to be the diaphragm on the carburetor that had start to perish so had to be changed
