I have a champion 40 self propelled lawn mower, because the engine and therefore the blade appears/sounds to be running at less than normal revs the only way I can cut the grass properly is very slowly does anyone have any answer to this.
Make sure the cable ( IF FITTED ) is opening the carb lever fully, if it is the govenor may need adjusting, check also the govenor spring is still attached to the carb spindle and has not fallen off
