Our Kenmore Extra Capacity Heavy Duty Washer seems to be stuck on the wash cycle. The water won't drain nor go into spin cycle.

There is a rubber catch bag inside that will clog up with money, paperclips, etc. This is the pump. Remove the back and clean it out. You may be surprised with what you find. It is kind of tight with your hands to get the rubber bag back on.
