peugeot 206 frozen speedometer?

i own a peugeot 206 model 2001 , Abs , manual gear . the spedometer is on zero and i cant know the speed or how fast im cruising. i checked the sensor at the gear box and there is nothing wrong with it. i believe the problem is inside the gauge itself . how can i fix it please
