my mp3 just sits at the start up pic, its an acoustic solutions 1gb?

my mp3 just sits at the start up pic and doesnt load anything in, it wont turn off after that and it also doesnt show up on the computer either, its an acoustic solutions 1gb mp3 player, oh yea and when it does turn on and load up when u try to change songs or it changes itself after a song it turns off and you have to take the battery out for like 10 mins and put it back in before it changes, how do i get it to work and acually play music properally?
