how can i fix a touch screen mp3/mp4 player?

I downloaded songs th my new touch screen mp3/mp4 player now it won't turn on. I tryed taking the back off it and pull the battery out of it but it is imposiable there is no way to do so. I bought it off ebay and now the person that soled it went off the map. He won't respond to the other x amount of people that are now having the same problem. Even ebay is having trouble contacting him. Someone help me and countless others turn on our touch screen mp3/mp4 player
