how to disable a 1996 ford fiesta alarm?

I have a 1996 n reg fiesta! And if you take the horn and alarm fuse out it seems to do the job! Look in your manual

My alarm-control is broken and without it i can not start my ford fiesta.. How do i destroy the alarm completly?

I have an X reg Fiesta whose alarm has been going off intermittently, usually of course during the night. I am just back from my local Ford dealer. The wiring was badly corroded and it could have been repaired for about £300! Very complex 2 hour job as it’s built into the ignition system. The only alternative was to disable the sound part of the alarm and just live with the occasional flashing lights when parked. That is what I opted for.

I too have the same problem on a n reg Fiesta! Have just left it unlocked! also when driving along my door open light on the dash flashes randomly, dont know if it is linked

Hi, just wondering if you got this problem sorted, we have a 1997 fiesta with the same problem. Its very annoying and have already spent money on trying to get it sorted with no result. Be very grateful for any info. Thanks
