how can i reset my alarm on 2003 ford ka?

there is a problem in two areas on street ka alarms first check the switch in your boot latch [on the boot landing panel not on the boot lid] they can come adrift. and sometimes they can break [this switch controls the interior boot light the alarm & the folding roof deck lid. the second prblem area is the alarm switch or switches [depends if its been modified] on the folding roof deck lid people tend not to close the lid correctly as the switches are on the latches[ two of] you must close the lid by putting your hand in the middle of the deck lid and not at one side and shut the lid with a slam this will shut both latches all the way [this problem seems to only happen when the roof has been folded down] hope this helps if not auto electrician is your next stop
