1) get youself a front bmx brake cable should be aprox 2' long
2) connect the nipple end to the brake lever by pressing the lever in and hooking the nipple in to the little swing arm inside then make sure you pass the cable though the bolt on the end of the lever by lining the slit in the bolt and the lever.
3) now feed the other end into the bolt with a hole in the middle this should only go as far as the outer casing on the cable.
4) now thead the cable though the nut that locks it in place
5) the brake is now ready to set up
the next step show how to set your brakes up
1) first adjust the bolt on the end of the lever that the cable passes though all the way out stop just before it comes off.
2) now with one hand press the brake pads onto the wheel
3) with the other hand get a 10mm spanner and tighten the bolt that the cable is in (or at the side) this should lock the brakes on (dont worrie this will become clear).
4) now that the connecting done all you do now is to tighten the bolt on the lever back in this should release the brake anough to let the wheel move free check the brake still operating by presing the lever
5) now once happy get some wire cutters and cut the excess cable off leave about 2" on put the suplied niple on the end of the cable and crimp to stop the cable from fraying
your now ready for use hope this helped any more probs just let me know
