how do i get water to flow in my electrolux carpet cleaner?

I am assuming that you have a floor pro. if so 1st check the tank to see if it is working check lever on handle to see if it is pressing down on tank valve. check to see if turbo liquid is flowing down thru the tube into machine base. remove base plate but turning plastic nut in center of plate. when removed check to see if liquid is coming out of the base the shampoo plate hase a little black gasket on the upper side of the plate. the plate may be blocked. this happens when you do not remove and clean after every use. you can try to soak the plate in warm water over night and try blowing thru the gasket to unclog it.
