low flow?

when i turn off burner it takes a lot longer for all hot water to get out off burner than it does on my other washer. is there some kind of cleaner i can run through to clean out any buildup that might be in burner?

Well now seems we have a guessing game.
Would be an idea to describe the unit this burner is in as you could be refering to a to air baloon burner, or even a jet engine after burner.
