Mend Scantronic 9000 Alarm Activated Light

Scantronic 9000 series alarm?

When my alarm is activated the "Day" light goes out and it emits a continuous sound from the control panel which continues after the exit door is opened and closed. The only light on the control panel is the green power light and no fault indications are shown.
