how do i clean filter on hotpoint wm22?

My hotpoint washer is not going through its complete cycle it seems to have insufficient water so I want to try cleaning the filter but do not know how to get at it.

hi its not a filter problem (these dont have one) i think one of the water fill valves is working the other isnt
