Mend Sharp R654 Lcd Display Not Working

sharp r654 lcd display not working?

Hi the lcd display on my r654 is not working.
Other than that the microwave still works fine so i was wondering if it is a fixable problem ?

I have the same problem. theLCD started to fade and now it's gone compleatly blank.

if its back lit it may just be a dead bulb. Other wise parts are available though special order.
