vokera linea 24, heating problem?

my boiler is working fine except it won't heat the radiators in the house. It will not fire up when heating is turned on. It has automatic ignition, so it's not that. The water gets hot and system fires up normal. Also, when turned to off position on dial, the system fails to turn lcd display off. Timer is turned off, so should start automatic.
