how can I fix my lawnmower,Murray 22 inch,4.75Hp, model no.225114X92A?

the pull cord on my lawnmower is stuck. It does not extend like it should.When I try to pull the cord to start it, it won't let me. Like it is locked or something. Murray 22inch/4.75 Hp/throttle free design/model#225114X92A

Have you tried firstly. REMOVE SPARK PLUG FROM ENGINE, and put the plug in your pocket so the engine can not accidentally fire up.
check that the piston is not seized in the bore by SLOWLY moving the blade. Use a thick glove to avoid damaging yourself.
If the engine is free then suspect the pull cord mecanism.
ALWAYS REMOVE THE SPARK PLUG WHEN WORKING ON GAEDEN MACHINERY.
