Had same problem with a Panasonic TV earlier. Seems that one of the voltage regulator/capacitors is about to give way according to the technician sent to the house. Stop using the TV immediately and call the technician to fix the problem. If the capacitor DOES break, then your picture tube might blow out and that is near to impossible to fix (in terms of cost compared to buying a new TV)
