Mend Toshiba Tv Widescreen Lines

Widescreen toshiba picture is green then goes to standby?

Any ideas whats wrong the tv only few years old its standard tv flat screen it started when picture had pink tones then had green tint with thin green lines running side to side now like it permanantly and switches itself onto standby . . .Help.?

Sounds like the tube ...There were lots of problems like this with 32" philips tubes where the Green gun shorts internally.Maybe worth getting someone round to look at it.Some do free callout to give you some idea whether its economical to fix.
