Mend Candy A8001/1 Dishwasher Cycle Fix

how can i fix my candy dishwasher a8001/1?

when the dishwasher is operating the door doesn't open to release the dishwasher tablet it is still closed when the cycl has finished and the tablet hasn't disolved

Not much consolation but we had the same problem with the same model about 4 years ago. I tried changing all sorts of components, but in the end gave up. Since then we've put the tablet in the cutlery basket!
