Thanks so much! Yes you were right press the light housing on both sides and then remove those long screws. Flip it over and use the screw driver to pry on the sides where the arrows are on the rubber, Look in that slot and see which way to puch the screw driver so you do not crack the housing. Once the sides are loose, you will have to jiggle it and wiggle it to get the cover off. Good luck, I bet all the little old ladies threw their vacuums out after having to try and change the belt!

Thx for the great info. The light cover on my vac head had such a good fit, you couldn't tell it was a separate piece. To make disassembly easier, also remove the light bulb before separating the two halves of the vac head.

Jen,

I just found mine after searchin the web for one. Remove window cover on light - press in on both sides - there are 2 screws under that - remove them.

Turn over head there are 2 plastic like clips on each side that you need to press in on using a screw driver or force the sides out to clear them - it is marked on the outer rubber if you look carefully. Gentley seporate the top from the bottom from back to front. It will snap as it releases from the front - be careful not to break anything. You are in - be gentle removing the bar. Goods luck!
