Find a manual & parts for a Kenmore vacuum?

I was given a Kenmore Whispertone Model 116.38199990 12 volt upright vacuum cleaner as a challenge to see if I could get it working. The motor seems fine, the plastic motor housing is broken and there is no belt. I can't seem to find anywhere online that has a manual so I can find part numbers. I don't even know what bag it takes! Oh, please someone help me so I can show my daughter that girls CAN fix things!

That machine takes a type 50688 bag (Sears) or you can use a Panasonic type U-3 bag, it will fit as well. For the belt, you need a Kenmore 5275 or a Panasonic type UB8. If you have trouble finding these parts, email me at arctic@worldlynx.net
