Steamvac Widepath valve stem assembly installation?

I have a Hoover Steamvac Widepath model F6020 900. The valve assembly has come out of the bottom of the tank. I have tried to reinstall, but it does not seem to want to go back in. Is there a secret to getting this reinstalled that someone could tell me?

The secret is to replace the entire container assembly. I kid you not, the valve isn't available seperately, and when one manages to get it to stay, they leak like crazy. We carry the container, email us at arctic@worldlynx.net
