What way round does a new bearing seal go in because i am not sure that the one replaced in my hotpoint wm62 automatic front loader is fitted correct ( spring side facing towards inside of drum ), bearings didnt last long after replacement ,I am going to replace spider and bearings this time but want to get the seal right cheers !
spring side should be facing the bearings, you probably fitted the bearings using a worn spider/shaft which tore into the new seal causing the same failure as the first set.
