I had the SAME problem with my kenmore...the problem was indeed the drainage hose, which I checked by blowing into. NO air passed. a wet/dry vac can be used (form a tight seal with your hand) to free the blockage.

check that the pump is runnig and isnt blocked also check the drain hose
