my aeg dishwasher, top sprayer arm keeps coming off, ?

my aeg dishwasher, top sprayer arm keeps coming off, i used to be able to re attach it but for some reason the knack I once had is not working . Should it snap in or turn and slide into place.
It is an aeg super turbo airdryer

I use mine without the spray arm. I guess the water splashes about and goes more or less everywhere.

I'm pretty sure that your problem is down to a cracked spray arm ferrule. It's a common part know to fail and costs under £10 direct from AEG. It looks like a little white plastic ring with two plastic lugs. Although this may not be the exact part for your particular machine here is an example of what you probably need to buy:
