Mend Hoover Hetty Working Fine Light

Hi/lol switch not working on Hetty?

Hi, the Hi-Lo switch on my Hetty isn't working. The Hoover works fine but I really like to use it on Hi. The light comes on to say Hi is on but there is no change in sound or suction like there was before.
