was working fine,tried to turn it on one day and it would not power up.When I pushed the power button it would not click but the light would come on for a split second at first.Now I get nothing at all.Please answer fast,if you could see my home you would know this could be classified as an emergency. did you ever find out what was wrong? My Kirby won't power on either. Although my on/off switch does 'click'. I am wondering how to test if it is a switch problem.

Make sure that the bag holder is properly aligned on exterior housing it is one of the safety switches of the three total.
