Mend Vertas R8 After Tamper Light

How to reset after Tamper light has been activated?

Had a new key pad for my vertas r8. all was well however not sure if someone has leant against the keypad, it started buzzing and the Tamper light is illuminated. After entering the code the buzzing stopped but the tamper light is still illuminated and i cannot reset.
Any help to sort this would be great as unable to ste the alarm at present
