Poulan Mod. 2550 will not start. Approx 8 yr old. Occasional use?

The magneto produces a nice blue spark on a new plug when grounded to the outside of cylinder. The mag field coil has proper air gap and no sign of rubbing the flywheel magnet. The carb has ben properly cleaned with new overhaul kit installed. With the filter removed and trying to crank the engine I notice a small amount of blow back thru the carb.

Poulan Poulan 2550 Garden Tools, Chainsaws Old 8 Will Start Yr

Just wondering if you ever got your problem solved? I have the same saw and two different techs can't seem to find the problem. it's got fuel, got spark, good compression but won't hit a lick. This saw has maybe 10 Hours on it. Practllly new!

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

take out the plug put your finger in the hole there should be compression rings may be gone need more info
