Mend Poulan P3314 Chainsaw Carburetor

poulan chain saw. P3314?

If you press the primer bulb more than once it floods. Is there a valve in the carb. that holds this pressure to prevent flooding?

The valve is in the purge button, make sure the pipes have not been fitted incorrectly, the bulb should pull fuel from the carb, into the bulb, and back into the tank, not push fuel into the carb, if the pipes are correct, replace the purge bulb.
