My iron has no light on no power ,fuse and wiring to plug seem fine ?

Plug another appliance into the socket - if it works then say goodbye to your iron - it's beyond repair - invest in a new one.

As a last resort you might cut away the plug and a few inches of cord and fit a new plug - minimum cost and time and it may just get the iron working again - but you'll have a slightly shorter flex.
