veritas 8 problems?

Have been having problems with tamper circuit.The main Tamper circuit is linked out but still tamper coming on. Changed new battery and fault went, but now when i come back in after alarm has been set and put my code in the tamper light comes on and i have to press rest to clear.
Any ides
