Mend Thomson DTR 6300 Red Help Display

Thomson DTR 6300 - solid red light?

Hi
Please can anyone help?!
My DTR is stuck with a solid red light on the display panel.
The remote control does not shift it, or any buttons I press on the manual ntrol panel on the front of the box.
I've tried powering it on and off too, but still no luck.
Has it died?? :(
Please can you help me?
