Tricity bendix DSIE 456 oven/display fault?

I have just got a second hand cooker as above. The 4 rings on the hob all work perfect but neither the cooker or grill do. The display/timer does not come on at all. The red oven LED does flash on for an instant when I first turn on at the wall and the oven is set to heat. There is a very faint buzzing noise as soon as I turn on at the wall. Any help greatly appreciated.

the power goes through the clock to the oven.if the clock doesn't work then the relay on there doesn't put power on to the oven.you can bypass the clock by bridging the 2 wires that go to the clock relay.other than that it might need replacing.also check main oven fan element as a faulty one could cause strange clock issues
