Mend Pfaff creative 1469 Machine Lights Programmes

Pfaff creative 1469?

The machine was serviced two years ago and not been in use since. On trying it now the lights come on and the programmes select, but the motor is not turning at all. When turning the clutch wheel it does move the needle up and down, so what to do please? A techinician who looked at it said he could not fix it with no explanation. Please advise best course of action. Much obliged. Rosemary.
