Mend Beko WMB61431B Lights Washing Machine Switch

Beko WMB61431 B lights up but wont run?

Beko washing machine WMB 61431B will switch on and light up you can select programme and press start then nothing other that door locks and that is it. All this happened since friend changed door seal. Please could you give me any clue on this problem. Many thanks in advnce.

thanks for quick reply ( it was friend honest i was called when the problem arose) anyway water supply to machine is fine , carbon on motor fine, its once powered up and select programme the READY light will stay luminated . only thing you here is door lock.

Do not blame your friend.

Consider that he turned off the water tap to do the work and forgot to turn it on again when he was finished.

It may also be possible that the water inlet valve has failed - you might ask your friend to look at it - but do not nag at him else you'll lose a friend.

Your machine will not operate without water - it's the essential first step will all machines.
