I have connected an old recordable DVD to an LG Smart 3D led TV with a component connection.
I can watch my old recordings but I cannot find out how to record from it.
Please can anyone help.

However most smart TVs can record from the normal channels if you connect a USB flash drive or a USB external hard drive to the TV. Details will be in the TV's manual.
