Mend LG DRT389H DVD Recorder Playback Discs

LG DRT389H does not recognise discs?

My LG DRT389H dvd recorder has just stopped recognising all dvd and cd discs when inserted to play. The machine automatically ejects them. Any suggestions? Thanks. Andrew
