how do i connect my dvd recorder to my sky digi box so it will record?

i tried to connect my tevion dvd recorder to my sky box but it just wont work,i connected my scart output on dvdrecorder to the tv scart and my sky scart to the scart input on dvd recorder and when i turn on the dvd recorder it goes on to the av channel and when i search for channels on the dvd recorder it cant find any,i really need help with this.

I have read that you cannot switch back during recording while using scart sockets on older TVs. However they state that it is possible to modify the connection by disconnecting PIN 8 on the lead (a bit of a fiddle).
When using the scart lead the recorder must be set on scart using the source button. That should be on bottom left of the handset.

Hi, I,ve got one as well. I can get it to record sky but I've got to watch the channel it is recording. Its connected tv to dvd then to sky box. you have to scroll through to scart on the hand set for it to work. Have you had any luck with yours?
