Van splutters when throttle ?

Not too sure but have had problems on these with bad smoke and poor running,if you look near the radiator cowl there is a sensor which is linked to your egr valve and manifold and have had bad electrical contacts at this point,also check your fuel filter,drain into a jar and check for water ingress,good luck.
