Mend Citroen Berlingo Reg Van Power

citroen berlingo w reg van lacks power?

My citroen berlingo 1868cc lacks power, at full throttle with a tailwind going downhill it will eventually reach 70mph. It has 171000+ miles on the clock. It starts without hesitation even after 10 days, is there a simple solution?

Hi Pete,
I had the same prob with my 2001 multispace.
Changed filters and oil, then had Cambelt and tensioner done. Its now like a Ferrari Dino
My timing belt had slipped a notch giving the lack of power.
Hope this helps.
