Mend Vokera Excell 80 SP Boiler Central Heating Bleeding

Vokera Excell 80 SP - high pressure?

After bleeding the radiators and increasing the pressure to 1 (it had dropped to 0.5), my vokera 80 sp now shows a constant pressure of between 2.5/.75 and shoots up to 3 when I switch the central heating on (pressure does not change when I use the taps). Any ideas?

water expands when hot by up to 10 % so gauge should always go up

you need to drain some off pressure to high. just open a bleed valve to get pressure down.
