Thermocouple re-newed, pilot tip renewed and overheat stat renewed but still pilot light will not stay on when gas button is released, can you give me any more clues as what might be the cause? thanks.
I Would Just like to thank GASAID.co.uk and HI-SPEC PLUMBING for helping me in my QUEST to find the fault and fix it. My MYSON APOLLO 40B central heating boiler is now working a treat after fitting a new gas valve from KEEPTHEHEATON.com, many thanks to all conserned and MERRY CHRISTMAS.

As HiSpec said, check your incoming gas, then go for a shiny new gas valve.
