How can I fix my Main Combi 30HE boiler?

The domestic hot water system is not operating properly as it heats the water to the right temperature when you open the tap but only for a short time then runs cold for a while then runs hot again and so on , I have changed the 3 way valve assembly and the temperature sensor but it has no effect. Now I am not sure what to do next ?
