Kohlangaz Gosford HE fire?

My Kohlangaz Gosforth HE gas fire will not ignite, My hand set controller is displaying E56 , it will also not ignite on the manual control on the actual fire.
The controller is displaying a temp of +65degrees f. but I cannot find a way of re-setting it.
