Mend Kenmore 106.58882600 Refrigerator Freezer Not Cold

Why is my refrigerator/ freezer not working?

Kenmore side/side refrig./ freezer,it's running but it's not cold(frig) and not frozen.lights come on when door is opened ,but it's not doing what it should,any ideas?

NEVER turn it upside down it dont work like that u need to replace the thermostat

Your thermostat has possibly died, this happend to one of mine, the thermostat stopped working ,as a result the freezer didn't get cold. It was replaced and solved the problem. Or you could do the old trick of turning the freezer upside down overnight, but you have to leave it 12 hours for the gases to settle before pluging it in again.
