How do I hard reset my delonghi magnifica esam 4400?

How do I hard reset my delonghi magnifica esam 4400?
All she'll do is scroll language selection and wont take any input. Was just serviced had new boiler and all seals replaced to the tune of $300 in july.

Unplug, hold the buttons for 15 seconds and then plug in again?
If the plug is pulled out of the power point I am sure it doesn't do shit all even if you hold the buttons pushed for a thousand years.

This is per Delonghi customer support for the the 4400
To reset the PBC board on your unit you will need to turn the unit off, unplug it, hold down the On/Stand By button and the Menu buttons simultaniously for 15 seconds then plug the unit back in and turn on.
