Mend DeLonghi OFC2009TI Set Turn Mode

Buzzing noise on my OFC2009TI?

I don't want to set my heater to come at all I just want to be able to turn it on and off when I like when I'm home and want some warmth! Thing is, when I turn it on to manual mode it makes a really annoying buzzing sound. This puts me off having it on at any time! can anyone help? x
