Popping the fuse?

Lots of domestic dishwashers are COLD FEED ONLY or damage can be caused.When you say fuse is it a fuse or a trip that pops?

Replacing with the same wattage is OK. The brand don't mather. It can be hazardous. It may be beter to call an electrician. But, it's unprobable that you have a defective breaker. There is more chance that you drain to much current.

You must NEVER EVER replace any fuse or breaker with one of a larger capacity yourself. EVER!

Call an electrician to check all the wiring before putting in a bigger breaker to make sure that the wiring can safely handle the higher current.

Otherwise, disconnect any other devices that may be connected to the same circuit as the dishwasher.
If that's not enough, chose a wash cycle that DON'T use the heater.

Personaly, I've found that the hot water from the tap is hot enough without any additional heating, on 3 different brands/models over more than 20 years. Heating is realy only usefull for advanced desinfinction that you probably don't realy need, or if the dishwasher is connected to the cold water instead of the hot water as it should.
